Splitsville
Over the last thirteen years I have never really given a client the heave-ho. Not that I shouldn't have, it's just that I haven't. After twenty-seven revisions of the same cover where any remnant of my creativity has been entirely drained from the project it is tempting to say never again. But, when morning comes I realize that I still have mouths to feed and turning work away—no matter how demoralizing it might be—seems to be the price you pay. After all, they call it work for a reason. Especially now with the economy in the tank it's a gutsy move to part ways with any client, no matter how miserable the experience has been.
